Minneapolis Skyline Print: US Bank Stadium, Morning Moon, Minnesota Wall Art

From $33.75 · fulfilled through Etsy

I love photographing city skylines and am amazed at how the color of the buildings can change depending on the light at a particular time of day. This particular photo was taken before sunrise on a fall morning before the moon had set. This was another of those shots where when I set out from home the sky was completely overcast and the entire time I was getting dressed, driving in my car, and walking up to my shooting location, I kept asking myself “What are you doing? You could be comfortably in bed.” I had imagined photographing the full moon when it was higher in the sky and occasionally there would be enough of a break in the clouds that I could catch a glimpse and see where it was. But unfortunately these glimpses didn’t make for a very good photograph. Just when I thought this was going to be a wasted morning, the clouds broke enough to catch the full moon right before it disappeared behind the buildings.
